Here's a good place to share why we believe in God & have accepted Jesus as our Saviour.
I accepted Jesus at age 11 in our Southern Baptist Church called Graceland in New Albany Indiana, by the time I was 13 I had already felt a call into the ministry. We were in and out of church all through my teenage years because we had moved farther away from Graceland & that's where Mom liked to go. So as a teen I backslid but by my Jr. year of High School I was exposed to the Charismatic movement through a friend & by the beginning of my Senior year had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which radically changed my life!
More of my story later.

Rev. King's continuing story: Also, during my Senior year of High School I began to look for logical reasons for my faith I started by looking at the concepts of right & wrong without there being a God. My conclusion was without God right & wrong are simply costoms or whatever the magority of society says it is. I just couldn't buy that answer. How about you?

There is a song that the singer B.J. Thomas had on one of his Christian albums, You gave me time when no one gave me time of day...
I never knew what I wanted to do in life, what I wanted to be. I was continually told I couldn't do this and wasn't smart enough to do that. When I asked Jesus to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins, there was this something special, an impartation into my heart and mind, that He indeed have a plan for my life, a place for me in this world. It felt like coming home! I just knew it was where I belonged. Yes, now I know it was the Holy Spirit entering into my life, guiding and leading me and He continues to do today some 25 years later.
I continue to believe because of the immeasurable times and situations God has intervened in my life in a multitude of circumstances and also in my family's life, those who know God and those who as yet, do not. His stubborn love doesn't blow hot and cold. He has always honored His Word and I need Him more each day than I need my next breath. In Him I live and move and have my being.
He first loved me. He continues to love me. He will eternally love me. His love, His provision, His presence, yes, I believe in God.
