Also coming up on the last week in July our annual VBS. This year it promises to be the best one yet. This years VBS will be family-oriented, and the theme is "SONCASTLE."

What do you think about the concept of having a family-oriented VBS? ;D

Hey Cindie, great to have you on the message boards.

I think a family oriented VBS sounds interesting. It would be great to have families come together and learn about the Lord. How to get the dad's involved, would be my question?

Just how exactly is a family-oriented VBS different from regular VBS? Isn't it family-oriented too?

It should be, but most VBS' are geared mainly for children. With the emphasis on the children. Family-oriented VBS is one that is geared for the whole family. Whether that is a single mom and her children or a family of 4, etc. Families coming together is what it is all about.
